I collaborated with our department’s lead designer to complete the 2015 Annual Report for the Austin Food & Wine Alliance.
Events are the backbone of the Austin Food & Wine Alliance, so in the background of each page we showcased a photo from a different event (with caption). This document was only ever used as a PDF, so there were fewer concerns over ink usage, legibility over a photo background, or springing for full-bleed.

While creating the look for this competition, I was trying to evoke a slightly retro feel without being too overt. This event takes place in downtown Austin, and only the trendiest and up-and-coming bars and bartenders are invited to participate.

Jacques Pépin is one of the most respected chefs cooking today. For this event I created a clean linen look.

Custom ampersand, since the one included in the typeface didn’t work for our uses.
