A booklet I designed for investors interested in Georgetown; home owners, business owners, retirees and others. This booklet sings the praises of the nation's fastest-growing city that's over the population of 50,000 people.
I collaborated on information gathering and overall outline decisions with the project manager. Initially I envisioned a two-color look with duotone photos for a classic look (similar to the look-and-feel of The Election Economy event below), but after some deliberation we opted for full-color photos.
We needed to convey a lot of information in a refined way, and show off what Georgetown has to offer specifically to investors. The tabbed layout gives a quick overview of the kind of information you can expect (and an idea of the types of things the city has to brag about), and the image on the cover (chosen by the client) is a good representation of the combination of business and natural spaces detailed in the booklet.
Tabs for easy overview/section accessibility.
First spread: Letter from the mayor.
Last spread: Letter from the city manager.
Back cover.
This is a look created for a speaking event held by the Department of Economic Development. Demographics trend older for these talks, so I went with a refined, official look for this government event.
